Another first

Today was a great day! Today's adventure's weren't planned, but the spur of the moment adventure's made for a perfect day.  This is me and my little niece.  She is adorable and keeps all of us on our toes.  She is a little sassy just like her aunt.  ;)  

My Sis, Mei and I went shopping, to lunch and shopping at Gardener Village.  It was such a beautiful day.   We had a wonderful time.  

I bought this cute sign for my bedroom today.  "Happiness is a choice".  I love this saying.  Right now while I am trying to figure out my new life it's such a good reminder to me that my happiness is a choice and I can choose to be happy and have happiness.  I definitely want to choose happiness and I hope waking up to this every morning will help remind me of how I can choose and create happiness for myself. I am in charge of me. I am in charge of who I am and I am in charge of my own happiness. It is determined by me.  How scary and invigorating all at the same time! 

P.S.  I conquered another first today.....The beginning of many, but I can do hard things and I don't have to do them alone. I didn't do it alone today. Thank heavens for the girls!
